This wallpaper is manufactured in the same manner as during the 18th and 19th century, which make the surface very living, far from the ordinary machineprinted wallpapers made today.

The wallpaper True Blue Gold is printed on is unbleached and to a large extent recycled fibre from cardboard and knot. The pigments are inorganic and not dependent on heavy metal, toxic and heavy metals that were very common in the past, e.g. arsenic, cadmium, cobalt, chrome, lead and zinc have been removed. The manufacturing process is clean and the raw material is to a great extent renewable. The co-ordination of the wallpaper and paint production makes sure that nothing goes to waste. The energy consumption is low and the process and final product issue no harmful substances. The linseed oil supported distemper consists of, as the name indicates, boiled cold-pressed linseed oil, water and cellulose starch (the glue). The print with distemper is in the same manner as during the 1860s and is printed on a 100 year old surface print machine; called “The rose machine”. The wallpaper is UV resistant against sunlight and fading. Washable without the use of synthetic binding agents. The result can be seen in the brilliance of these beautiful wallpapers. It is a white bottom with splashed vivid lines in glittery gold.
